Reddam House Celebrates One of Its Strongest Ever A-Level Performances
Reddam House School is celebrating one of the most successful sets of A-level results in its history, with students achieving outstanding outcomes across an exceptionally broad range of subjects.
This summer, 56 students completed A-levels across 20 different subjects, ranging from Mathematics and Economics to Digital Media and English Literature. More than 20% of all grades were awarded at A*, almost half (48%) achieved A* to A, and three quarters of all grades were awarded at A* to B.
The results also reinforce Reddam House's position as one of the country's leading non-selective schools for academic progress. Based on value added measures, the school is placed within the top 10% nationally, demonstrating the exceptional progress students make between joining the school and completing their A-levels.
Rick Cross, Principal of Reddam House, said:
'In education, people often focus on inputs rather than outcomes. The real measure of a school is not who it admits at 3 or 11, but who its students become by 18.
'This year's A-level results are among the strongest in Reddam House's history. What makes them particularly special is that they have been achieved across 20 different subjects by students with a wide range of strengths, interests and aspirations.
'These results reflect years of ambition, resilience and expert teaching, and I could not be prouder of our students or the staff who have supported them every step of the way.'
Reddam House Berkshire combines academic ambition with individualised support, enabling every student to develop their talents and achieve their potential. The school's broad curriculum, commitment to excellence and focus on value added outcomes continue to deliver exceptional results while preparing students for success at leading universities and in their future careers.
