Monmouth School for Boys

Set in the picture-postcard Wye Valley, Monmouth School for Boys is part of the Monmouth Model: a family of schools that advocates co-education in the prep and sixth form, and tailored single-sex teaching from 11 to 16 (during these years, boys and girls still get together for social and co-curricular activities). The acting headmaster – since 2010 the school's second master – is Simon Dorman, who has stepped up to oversee the 645 boys.
