Our View

Founded in 1810 as an academy to prepare boys for nearby Princeton University, today Lawrenceville is a selective co-ed day and boarding school. It’s known for Harkness, a discussion-based approach to learning, outstanding performing arts -current facilities are old and will only be outstanding after the TSAI complex is complete.  and its unique approach to dorms that places all students in a house system.. - They do have solid sustainability initiatives as mentioned below but it is the house system that makes L’ville unique among other boarding schools.
