Our View

Part of the English Schools Foundation (ESF) family, co-ed secondary West Island Hong Kong was founded in 1991 in response to the demand for more school places fuelled by the development of Discovery Bay resort on Lantau Island. A private international secondary school with strong academics and sports, and an emphasis on inclusion – the motto is ‘Strength from Diversity’ – this is an exceedingly popular option, especially since it was named an ‘Outstanding School’ by the Hong Kong government.
